Header image black

  • Hi there,

    The header image on my emails has started appearing black in recipients inboxes.

    Here’s how it looks in the design:

    This happens with any image that I upload. It appears that the image is there, but that the background has been made black.

    This didn’t used to happen — it’s only started recently.

    Please let me know if you have any advice to fix it.

    Hello Tom,

    Apologies for the delay in getting back to you!

    Please could you make sure you have updated WordPress, plugins, and theme versions? Then, if the updates did not fix the issue, kindly deactivate plugins one by one and check the email after each deactivation to see if the header image will show properly.

    If you have any caching or optimization plugins, I suggest deactivating those first. This step should pinpoint which plugin may be causing the issue.
