• Just installed this theme, looks ace! Busy customising it to my site (www.priestesstarot.co.uk) for a January 1st launch & I’ve FINALLY got the damn image size right!
    HOWEVER
it flickers when in fullscreen mode as if it’s resizing all the time. How do I stop it from doing that, please?

I can turn that theme ON to show you if it helps? Everything on the site is up to date, I run updates religiously so nothing is never more than a few hours out of date.

    Thank you!

    Hi @xaralouise,
Does this issue persist on the theme demo? https://wp-themes.com/twentyseventeen – If so, how do we replicate it?

@anevins I have no idea how you replicate it. I can’t see this happening in the demo though, sorry!

Would it be okay if you could show us your website?

I’d need to engage that theme, which I will do a short time. ??

Try deactivating all of your plugins to explore whether any could be responsible?

    Thread Starter xaralouise

    (@xaralouise)

that’s going to screw up my site, backups and everything else. Do you see the flickering when you look at it?

There’s a chance that a plugin is causing the issue. Can you deactivate the ones that aren’t going to screw your site up?

Do you see the flickering when you look at it?

Yes, well I see a flickering affect in the favicon at least which is cause for concern. When I tried to look at your header image I was accused of stealing it. Putting aside my personal feelings about that, it did prevent me from debugging the issue.

You’d not believe how the Tarot industry plagiarises posts! I can turn that off for you, give me 2 minutes ??

There’s also a chance that the image size is buggered up, even though I set it to what the theme told me to. ??

I do have to turn it off for a time though, I don’t want it live yet ??

I understand, it’s a bit tricky because there’s not a set time that I’m on and off the forums. So we might be communicating like this for a few days unless someone else steps in.

Are you around now, @anevins? ??

I am now but only for a few minutes. I don’t think we can provide you with support if you aren’t able to keep the Twenty Seventeen theme active for a reasonable amount of time.

This is for a change I’m planning for Jan 1st 2017…. the rest of the site is ready & it’s probably down to the size. I can wait for the help though ??
I am also around tonight, so I can turn it on this evening, from about 7pm GMT onwards?? ??
