• I just converted my https://www.noahfilipiak.com blog over to the Argent theme.

    1. The top and bottom of my header image get chopped off when you navigate away from the home page. Can this be fixed?

    2. There’s lots of clutter (category names, tags, etc.) at the top of each blog post. Can I turn that info off or move it?

    Thank you!

Just as an update (I’m still really hoping someone can help me with this), I noticed in Customize’s “Add Header” that a 2000×380 px header image was the optimal size. I changed my header to this size and didn’t have any better luck. My header image is a photo of me and my family that looks great on the home page and ridiculous / unprofessional on any other page because the top and bottom of our faces get chopped off. Most of my site’s incoming traffic does not go to the home page, so this is a significant issue for me.

    Help!

    Thanks!

    Howdy –

Apologies for the delayed response. I’ve looked at the header image and can see that the size is reduced on pages other than the front page. This is how the theme is designed to work. It looks like you’ve figured it out so that your faces aren’t getting cropped badly. Do you still need help with that?

For question number 2 – yes we can remove those bits from the page. Some themes include this option under My Sites – Customizer – Content Options – Display tags + categories. There’d be a box that you can check/uncheck. Otherwise we will use CSS to take them off. Did you want it off for every single item mentioned across the site? or only particular instances?
