HEADER IMAGE ISSUES DURING 4.7.2 UPDATE

After the new WordPress update, my blog was fine. This morning when I checked my website I saw that the header image was plastered ALL ACROSS my background, and there is a huge amount of dead space above my header, forcing the reader to scroll down.

When entering Customization, there is no fix for this – hiding the header removes only the large header image on the background but does not fix the white space. So many others using the Edge theme are experiencing this problem.
