    Hello,

I recently updated my WooCommerce template to include a header image. However, when I sent a test ShopMagic email the header shows as broken. How can we resolve this?

    Thank you.

    Hi jrotem

Thank you for contacting us. Could you tell me your WordPress, WooCommerce, PHP our plugin version you are to use? I would also appreciate it if you could send a screenshot of the email template you want to send.

Did the email template look correct before the update?

Thank you for your quick reply!
    Yes, the template was fine.
    WP 6.5.4
    WooCommerce. 8.9.3
    ShopMagic 4.2.16
    PHP 8.1

Screenshot (strangely, I cannot add it as an image using the block editor as it shows as broken, but can be viewed here): https://share.zight.com/DOuEmedW

    Hi jrotem

Could you check what path is given to this image? All paths should be complete, i.e. start with https and the site name in the email. I suspect that the image is not displaying because the path is relative, i.e. instead of https://example.com/image.png it is just ./image.png. In that case, the mailbox where you want to receive the message ‘doesn’t know’ where to get the image from

Just checking the support link. Is ShopMagic part of MonoSnap? Should I not contact ShopMagic on its own site?

    Hi jrotem

It’s fine. ShopMgic isn’t a part of MonoSnap. We use it only for screen purposses ??

I get your ticket on our support channel and will be troubleshooted there.

    Hi jrotem

The problem is that you are trying to combine the WooCommerce messaging mechanism with ShopMagic. And both plugins create, manage and send messages independently of each other.

If you want to add an image to a WooCommerce-generated message, you need to modify the WooCommerce email template. ShopMagic has nothing to do with that.

It occurred to me that I was also having issues with WP Mail SMTP not displaying images as well. Their support advised me to check with a default .htaccess file. So I decided to backtrack and start there. When I tested with a default WP .htaccess file, both plugins then worked ok and displayed images with no edits needed to the WooCommerce template.

Many thanks for all your help!
