The header image on my website has the Alt Tag, Title, Description in the media area. When I add it as my site’s header through the theme tools it strips this information. I double check in media for the image to make sure I have Alt text on the image and I do.

This appears to be a problem with the theme.

I go Appearance > Header. Add the image here.

I go to Media and make sure the image has ALT Tags and it does.

They never show up on the site.

Please fix. I like this theme and have the pro version. I am getting tagged for accessibility issues here at my college without the alt tag.

    Hello Karen,

We have just updated the theme to support a generic ALT tag for the custom header image which should improve accessibility.

You should soon get an update notification in your WordPress Dashboard for version 1.3.7 of Dynamic News.

    Best,
    Thomas
