Header Image Resize

    Hi folks,

    New to WP – and my page is not yet published. I’m currently using this theme and really like it – except, the header image seems way too large to me on the page and I’d love to make it a bit more narrow. Also, when the site goes to mobile the header image doesn’t down size and remains really large. So I guess I have two questions:
    1) Can I change the header image size?
    2) Is there a problem in that the header image size “should” resize automatically when you go to mobile? But it’s not? It gets smaller in that it shrinks horizontally but it does not shrink vertically. This does not seem to happen on the Indigo Demo site page.

    Hi,

    That was a mistake from our side in the Lite version. I have uploaded an updated version of the theme that fixes the issue well enough in my opinion. Just update the theme when prompted.

    Thank you for your quick reply. I’ve updated the theme but the problem still remains where the header image doesn’t resize when going to mobile. It remains very large.
    Do I need to do anything else other than just update the theme?

    I should add: this is only a problem with the home page header image. That same header image that appears on my other pages is smaller and does not encounter this same problem (as the header image I uploaded to the home page remains in place for every page I use if I don’t have a featured photo). Which also seems a bit strange to me – that the home page “header photo” (as well as an “right sidebar” widget photo) automatically appear on every page I create unless I go to “full width” layout for my pages (instead of default).

    I fixed the issue. If you updated maybe you just need to refresh your browser or try wih another one. If you have a caching plugin deactivate it.

    If nothing works post the url of your website so I can take a look.

    Hi Edy,

    Thanks again. I’ve just put the website live so you can take a look. When I did that the website is working properly on my iPhone (just not on the wordpress “mobile” viewing feature when building the website). So whatever you did works on my phone! Thank you!

    I’ve noticed on mobile, however, that the picture I have in the “right toolbar” widget gets pushed down below the text and the borders get all skewed. It’s fine when the picture is beside the text on desktop but not on mobile. Can you take a look?
