I have about 20 different header images that I use in the Pilcrow theme. I have them set up to be random, so each user that views our pages gets a random header image.

What I would also like to provide to the user is a way for them to change to another random header simply by clicking on the header image. Is there a way to do that? Would it simply be a page reload?

    Thanks for any info,

Yes, it would be a page reload – you’d need to create a child theme and modify the header.php file in your child theme.

That said, I would strongly recommend not changing the default link behaviour on the header image. Users expect that clicking on the header will take them to the front page of a site. Making it only change the header graphic but not get them to the page they’re expecting is a recipe for confusion. ??
