I selected an image and was invited to crop it, which I did. But when I published it, it was cropped (in height) to much smaller than I selected. I want my selection — what do I need to do?

  • There is a recommended image size, try resizing the image to fit the recommended size before uploading to the WordPress media library and use the full resized image once uploaded.

I ended up finding it in the CSS and fixing it. It’s working fine, but only at full screen size. I’ll hunt down where to change it at smaller screen sizes, if I can, otherwise I might need to find smaller images, which will be a pity.

In all the promotions and previews the main image is at least 450px deep. It was a surprise to find that, in fact, it had to be much smaller in the customisation. By then I was committed to Ascension. False advertising?

Look at this: . That was the look I was after. How do I get that?

Just make sure that your dimensions are multiples of the recommended dimension. You can review the demo image to see the specs on it on match your image to those specs by resizing it.

Cropping is an option, you do not have to use it.

    Okay, thanks
