• Hi there,

I’m trying to set up a website in Make, using the same lay-out as the demo shows: header left, menu next to it, header image beneath that and the content under the header.

I can’t find how to do this. The header appears either behind the logo and the menu, making the menu almost invisible and showing only a small part of the image. OR – when using the builder templates – I can add an image to the top, but that makes a slider appear. I want a photo and text. Can I do that in the free theme?

    Best regards,
    Hieke

  • Hello Hieke,

Which demo are you referring to?

    Hi Melissa,

I’m reffering to https://www.ads-software.com/themes/make/. Both this lay-out and the drag & drop are nowhere to be found in my installation. Do I do something wrong?

In the customizer under Layout, you’ll want to select the Traditional header layout.

The header image that you see beneath the site title and menu is actually a Banner section from the drag & drop page builder.

To access the Page Builder, you’ll add a new page. In the Page Attributes box on the right side of the page editor, select Page Builder template. That will switch your template to the drag and drop builder. ??

We have more information on getting started with Make, including some videos, right here in the documentation.

    I hope that helps!
