Header image width?

    If I go to customise the header image it says the theme recommends a size of 1900 X 200 pixels, however this is far too big, any idea what the best size should be? Thanks in advance.

  • Hi Tony!
    The header image is as wide as your screen size, meaning that there is no ideal size for everyone – If most of your visitors use a phone for example, you should pick one that looks nice for that, the same goes if you get most traffic from tablets and so on, you can get this data by using tools such as Google Analaytics

    Hi thanks for your reply. I must be having a dense moment though as I can’t figure out the best way to do this, I don’t want the image repeating so I don’t know how best to size it – most access will be from a PC but there will also be smartphone and tablet access too.
