• Thank you for theme development.

Your theme specifies a header images size of 1620-378 px. When I upload an image that size to use, your theme digitally zooms in on the image. Most of the image is offscreen out of view on a very large monitor. Why is that? Why wouldn’t we be able to control the images we place in the theme?

I took a peek at the CSS and do not see where you are changing the default size, or why.

As a photographer, I’d like to control what’s in the viewport and not have it arbitrary to your zoom factor. This flaw makes this theme header image unusable. Help please.

Hi Curtis. Sorry for the late response. Default size of an image is defined only in custom-header.php. CSS (.header-background-image class) controls it only in a way that will stretch it full size based on width (screen size), and height of the header is controlled by the amount of content in Site title and site description and site-branding class (with the min-height set) so if the the screen is larger than default size it will zoom it to fit the screen and the bottom of the header image might get cropped.
Unfortunately i don’t have flawless workaround around this issue at the moment.
