    Hi

Upon loading my website, the menu is dropped down and then when fully loaded it goes into position. This looks awful for a first impression.

I have turned off all css and js options and it’s still the same. However, if I uninstall the plugin the menu loads without these problems.

    thank you

The page I need help with: [log in to see the link]

  • Sorry to say that, but your page is a disaster. The one who build this theme should be set in prison! Everything that can be done wrong has been done wrong, but I don’t know how to explain it to make it understandable for you. If you have a friend or someone who knows the basics about HTML should help you. The issue that you describe is not caused by the cache plugin. It is caused by your theme or the one who modified it!

    Hi

Thanks for your reply. I had hired a developer to put together the website in Elementor. He used the basic theme Elementor theme (hello elementor) as it is confusing how the website is so messed up as I wasn’t aware he would have customised it much.

I am very confused now as I’m not sure where to start or what’s actually wrong with it.

    Thank you

Almost everything is wrong! Elementor is a good idea, but doesn’t work with all themes and especially not with methods to accelerate and optimize the code.
My advice for you: Do without Elementor and find a simple theme without blownup code. The more needless functions you use the more issues will happen.

The theme we used was Hello Elementor which is the plain vanilla theme so I would have though we wouldn’t have many issues.

Do you think the errors have occured because of Elementors blown up code or the way it was put together?

Finding it difficult to understand as I thought the website was just created via the elementor page builder and I don’t know of any customisations that were made.

    Thank you

Maybe both. The most important thing is that your theme or Elementor prevents using methods to optimize your page, because such methods expect that a page has a correct HTML structure. For the one who knows what is wrong and is able to identify what is wrong with your page could easily fix it. If you don’t have any experience with HTML it is difficult to help you.
