    Hello,

I have another hurdle I haven’t been quite able to clear. So I want to add more pages to my site. I created subdomains with the help of someone else on the forums. I created some html pages through dreamweaver that I want to upload through FTP with my host (Blue host) to my site.

Now I need to add links to these pages on my header on the blog. Now the problem is I can only add additional links to that header by creating new pages through WordPress. (The theme of course automatically does this which is awesome.) Via the add new page option in the dash.

I however need to add links that are to non wordpress articles. So my question is how can I add links to the header to fit right in with the already added “wordpress pages”?

I have tried adding standard HTML links but they always end up somewhere else not on the actual header. I don’t know PHP yet so I am having trouble understanding how to modify this.

    Thanks,

    – Dave

    Hi,

If newly created pages are appearing automatically in your menu then it means that you haven’t actually created and assigned a menu and you’re just using the fallback. So you might want to save and assign your menu first (nothing theme specific here).

Then if you want to add custom links you’ll see a Custom Links tab when you visit Appearance > Menus. Again, not something theme specific as it is a WP feature.

Ah! I didn’t even think to do that! Thank you very much!
