• So I’ve finished up this site and i noticed that that the header logo is not display on certain computers there is 3 computers in my house and one of them does not display the image but the other 2 do then i was checking out the website on my phone to see if the mobile version came out ok and its not displaying the header logo but on my roommate’s phone it does. Im very confused cause at first i thought maybe it was cause we got the ssl certificate implemented during the time i was still building the site and when i put the photo up it was http and not https but i replaced the image and made sure its https but its still not displaying the photo. I am at a complete loss right now can anyone help me out.

  • Hi @ccjack267,
From how you described the problem, I think it may be a Cache problem. To exclude this, go to your browser settings. Enter the “chronology” section. Finally click on “Clear browsing data”. In the selection, check the points: “Cookies and other site data”, “Images and files stored in the Cache”. You can find a short guide here: “Clear cache & cookies“.
Let me know if the problem persists.

i did try that and it wasnt it i even did it to all the computers and my phone and its still not the issue. have you gone to the site? did you see the lil green house logo in the center of the header?

I see the logo correctly. Image_link
On devices where it is not visible are there errors in the console?

ok yes im sorry i misunderstood the question yes on the devices that are not showing the image there is an error in the console it says “mixed content: the page was loaded over HTTPS but has requested an insecure image” it continues to list the link for the image but that image does not exist i think it might be the previous logo image but i had replaced it

I would say that the image was loaded when the site was in http. If you have switched to the https certificate, it is necessary that the image URLs have “https” and not “http”. Try re-inserting the image again.

ok i got it after searching the console i found an alt link on the logo so the logo itself was https but the retna logo was aperantly the alt and i did not change that one after getting the ssl certificate so i went ahead and re-inserted that image and its working now thank you very much for your help

I’m glad the problem has been solved. ??
