I made changes to my header menu = background and font color in the Custom CSS interface. I did not save the changes on the main page of the interface, the page with the CSS. The site never reflected the changes.

My Header, main, menu is broken

I get this error for my pages from the Header (main) Menu:

The requested URL /today/ was not found on this server.

Additionally, a 404 Not Found error was encountered while trying to use an ErrorDocument to handle the request.

The pages exist, the URL the 404 refers to exists. I can reach the pages from the WP Pages section.

    Please help.
    Thank you

I may have to do a backup restore, depending on the time this takes.

For future reference – what did I do wrong?

    Hi Toni,

This issue doesn’t look like it’s due to SiteOrigin CSS. It looks like it’s more of a htaccess issue. Please navigate to WP Admin > Settings > Permalinks and save that page. If that doesn’t resolve the issue I would recommend following the steps outlined in this Codex to see if it resolves itself.

Thank you!! Especially for the information and responding so quickly.

I just came back to close this thread because every link on my site is broken. I love the plugin and I’m glad it has nothing to do with my issue.

This worked. Thanks again, big time. I had no idea what to do.

If that doesn’t resolve the issue I would recommend following the steps outlined in this Codex to see if it resolves itself.

    Cheers!
