New to ALL things WordPress and css

I’m helping to redevelop a very old wordpress site and decided to use Tiny Framework for its simplicity and functionality for the new site.

The header menu works fine on pc’s but can’t see it using an iPad

Any suggestions would be gratefully received, but please make it simple to understand.

Mobile menu is activated only for small to medium screens.

When I tested your site with 7″ Nexus on Chrome, everything looked good.

I do not have any iDevice so cannot help you testing this. Could you try sing your iPhone or other iPad to see if this is persistent?

    Thanks for the quick reply.

I’ll have to wait till next week before I have access to another iPad – don’t have an iPhone – again I’ll have to check with others. Grateful however that it’s not a universal problem.

Just remembered my daughter has both!

Her reply on checking the site was “Ok so It looks like you’ve created a mobile device version of the website. This is a good thing! It means the formatting is different if you view it on an iPad or iPhone, you get a little menu tab in the top right corner, it looks like everything is contained in that drop down menu.”

So maybe the problem is with MY iPad and not the site.

    Good news!

Possible if it is an older version of iPad.

You may also see the mobile version by resizing browser window. You will see how website changes three times depending on the viewport size.

    Hi,

I have the same problem on an iPhone and an iPad (when turned sideways).

The issue also happens with your website Tomas.

Mobile menu is activated only when viewport is smaller than ~760px. So it is possible that in landscape mode normal menu is active.

In this case it is not an issue, but it is by design.

    Hi,

how can i fix it ?
