Header not showing properly

  • Hi Support,
    I’m in the process of moving a magazine website to a new theme. The WP ultimate recipe works just fine on the old website; however, I’m seeing a few issues when I publish a recipe on the new theme (Extra by Elegant Themes)… the post title isn’t centered, the post meta data is missing from the header and the feature image is also missing from header.

    How do I remedy these issues?

    Could you check with your theme if they use the same theme file for the display of regular posts and custom post types (like recipe in our case)?

    Is there a single.php file in your theme?

    The theme uses single.php file for pages and single-post.php for posts.

    In that case, try duplicating the single-post.php file and naming it single-recipe.php

    That should make sure recipes look the same as regular posts.

    Yes. That should be fine.
