• Hi,
When I receive my search results the page header is that of my Latest News Page rather than any form of Search Results Page. I have created a ‘Search Results’ Page but the plugin ignores it, how can I ensutre that the plugin uses the correct page to display its results on?

    Hi!

Can I take a look at your setup somewhere? It might be easier if I can see the issue directly.

In wordpress there is only one search resuts page – the search results archive, which is triggered when the “s” query argument is present when visiting your site, like “yoursite.com?s=phrase”

By default Ajax Search Lite should redirect to that archive. If you created a singular page, that won’t work unfortunately, the archive page has to be customized as it server as “the results page”.

    All the best,
    Ernest

    Oh, I understand now.

Okay, it seems like you have an issue with the results page template. You may have placed a block in your Elementor template incorrectly – maybe a title block or something similar. The search results are there if you scroll down, everything looks perfectly fine below that initial block.

The issue is not related to the search, you can verify it, if you disabled Ajax Search Lite, it would be still there. Check the Elementor archive template, there is definitely something there.

    All the best,
    Ernest
