Header repeats itself

I tried to transfer a page to WordPress by copying the HTML and Javascript into a “new page” option, but the header is displayed twice. Does anyone know why that might happen or what might go wrong when copying the HTML/Javascript source of a page into a WordPress page? Unfortunately, I am not allowed to show people the actual page.
