• Hi, I’ve installed the 5 Hacks for Twenty Seventeen theme https://premium.wpmudev.org/blog/five-hacks-twenty-seventeen/#github

But I’m encountering a few issues.

    1. The standard header image for Twenty Seventeen is 2000x1200px. When I try to upload a picture it only comes up this small : see my site When I remove the logo the header resizes to even smaller.

How can I make the header the original size again or a custom size? (ie. 1000x600px)

    2. I can’t change the two column layout to 1 column as outlined by codex

On my customise tab I don’t have the “Theme options tab”.

    3. I’ve also installed Advanced Twenty Seventeen, but for some reason the custom footer can’t be changed from the “Proudly powered by WordPress”. I’ve changed the code on the headers and footers code from the 5 hacks theme but even when I change it back to Twenty Seventeen it doesn’t change.

    4. How do I go about having the dynamic scroll as outlined here or this other site I’ve seen in this forum

Would really appreciate help – not sure why even when I change the site back to the original Twenty Seventeen theme some of the original settings aren’t there

  • For point 1. i think you need to set you home page as the static page, log into your wordpress site, select Customize from the menu at the top, you should see a menu option for Static Front Page, in there you can select your Static Page, I would choose your Home page. Then you should get a full size header.

I think once the home page as been set to static page you will get the theme options tab

I can’t “help” you with the rest, would look at the support page for the plugin Advanced Twenty Seventeen.

    good luck
