Header Slider inserting white space under slider

Good morning,

I just deployed the ColorMag theme on our blog, and there is a large amount of white space under the Front Page: Slider area. The white space appears and disappears with the movement of the slider.

It appears to be linked to using the TG: Featured Category Slider. I have gone in and made sure that each of the four images in the slider is *exactly* 800×445 pixels. The behavior happens in multiple browsers and on multiple machines. All plugins and themes are up-to-date. What are my next troubleshooting steps?
