Header Slideshow v1.0.0 – not in header

Hi, I’ve installed plugin “header Slideshow” but the slide show appears above the header, creating it’s own space on the site above the actual header. Is it possible to rectify this plugin so that the slideshow actually appears where the header appears in the web site? Alternatively is there another plugin that will enable me to do this.
