    Hi there,

Your website is requesting the files at their old 2.x location. This means your site is being cached (either by a plugin or server caching), which explains why it’s fine when you’re logged in (caching is typically disabled for logged in users).

If you clear/disable these caches, your website should fix itself.

    Let us know ??

    thank you, Tom.

how were you able to see the file requests? i’d like to learn how that works. please recommend learning resources if possible ??

would WP-Optimize be causing this? there’s an option to “Purge the Cache” on the settings page. is this what you mean by clear/disable?

i’m sorry i don’t have knowledge of caching. i appreciate your support and love GP.

your new pic is nice but it’s very flat and dull. it needs contrast–something to make it pop. you deserve a snappier photo, sir <3

many heartfelt thanks for your support, Lester

If you right-click + Inspect your page it opens something called Developer Tools. In the Console tab, it will tell you if there are 404 errors on the page. That’s where I saw your site requesting the files from the old location.

Yes – purging the cache should fix the issue as long as that’s the only cache you have on the site ??

it resolved on it’s own, which apparently it does, before i had a chance to see the errors as you did. this is all new to me but i’ll make time to learn about it.
can’t express my gratitude enough, Tom, really.
you give me hope for humanity.
i wish i were half as smart as you. you deserve all good things.
    take good care, Lester
