Header Video Sound Youtube

  • I have been having this issue for weeks now and I cannot find a way to enable the sound on my header video. The video size is too large to insert directly so im currently using youtube url.

    Any Help or suggestions would be greatly appreciated,

    First, please note that it’s a WordPress feature and not a theme feature:

    Video Headers in 4.7

    There is no sound by default, and I don’t think that there is an easy way to change this behavior, unfortunately.

    Thank you for your support, do you have any alternative methods that you would recommend in order to get a video with sound the full size of the screen at the top of a website?

    Hello Alex,

    Well, I can’t recommend something because I don’t even think that there is an easy way to do it properly without coding, unfortunately.

    However, you can experiment with plugins (for example Easy Video Player or similar) if you want to try to add a video into the first row and disable default video header to move that row to top. By the way, you can use Custom HTML widget to add shortcodes.
