header widget suggestion (for social icons)

  • Hi,

    Still about social icons – maybe it’s easier to update the theme in a way that header is also customizable and we can place widget in there (just like in footer areas). That would solve the problems with social icons… Just a suggestion, for the next version.

    Love the theme btw. Do wish it was easier to change the social icons (or add ones not pre-programmed) and customize color scheme.

    I would like to put in +1 for this feature too.

    I am currently using Customizr and trying to create a multi-language site using the PolyLang plug-in.
    Putting the language flag widget in the header makes a lot more sense than putting it in the sidebars or the menu row.

    Customizr is a lovely and admirable theme effort and I take my hat off for nikeo (literally!) and this extra widget-area make it even better still!
