I think it’s since the latest WP update that on certain pages my site’s header is missing padding left and right or whatever. I have no idea, I’m not a programmer. I messed around with the theme, added code snippets here and there, additional CSS, too.

I’m not familiar with the block editor, I entered content in the template styles instead of the pages directly. But it all worked until recently. I have changed nothing in between, but when you compare e.g. the starting page to the blog archive, single posts or this page, you see the different header widthes.

The page I need help with: [log in to see the link]

Hey there, were you already able to resolve this? I’m seeing consistent header widths across those pages currently.

Thanks for asking. With lots of trial and error, I managed to solve the header problem by myself. So I marked the case as resolved.

One minor thing I can’t get right: On single posts like this the three colums between content and footer – why are the more left aligned than the rest of the site? I don’t get it and can’t find a way to change it.

Ah okay. Did you need to add CSS to fix it? I wasn’t able to spot the issue on theme demo, so I’m curious about the cause.

Hmm, it’s hard to tell, honestly. Might be some setting in the columns somewhere.

Are they aligned correctly in the site editor, just not on the live site?

At the end I made a completely new header and exchanged it in all templates. I only use additional CSS for different background and link hover colors on certain subpages. My coding skills are very limited. So I would not even know, what to enter to adress a certain block with CSS.

When I try to style the colomn block in the editor with by adding padding or margins or use a frame, then on desktop it looks a bit more centered, but then the mobile view gets ugly.

As said, it’s only a minor annoyance. I don’t want to slim the whole site, because when using featured images, I like that they are full width.
