• I believe I am using the most up-to-date version of wordpress.

So I wanted to remove the search bar in my header area on my website. So I tried to delete the search bar code in the header.php file. I most have deleted the wrong code because when I went to my site I had an error in the HTML file. I try to go back to fix the error because I copied the code I deleted, but to no avail. I cannot even edit my site, nor can I get on it. I am using FushionTheme from ElegantThemes if that helps. I tried to reset the header.php file but I do not know how, nor do I know how to delete to hopefully have wordpress generate a new one. Right now, I cannot get onto my site, TheLoneTree. Please, if you have any idea at all how to fix this it would be greatly appreciated if you could share it with me. Thanks again.

  • Re-upload a fresh, unpacked, copy of the theme’s folder to wp-content/themes using FTP or whatever file management application your host provides.

Where is the wp-content/themes area? Sorry I am new at this ??

You need to use FTP or whatever file management application your host provides. The wp-content folder can be found inside the folder that you originally installed WordPress into. The themes folder will be inside the wp-content folder.

Okay thank you. This topic will be unresolved though until I fix my error…
