Headers Already Sent…

  • Hello. Thanks for sharing this application. I just installed WordPress and am experiencing the “stripslashes” issue (https://www.ads-software.com/support/2/160) along with a “headers already sent” issue (reprinted below). Your help is appreciated, as I’m not familiar with the code. Unfortunately, until this issue is resolved I’m unable to utilize this program.

  • I’m not sure if this is helpful, but according to another PHP-based open source project I use, that error is caused by your host not having PHP set up correctly. Specifically, they do not have a valid browscap.ini set.

    Thank you. I’ve sent a message to my host, who has been excellent about handling issues in the past.
    I’ve experienced this issue before, but it was a programming problem (attempting to send additional information once the header info has already been posted). Since no one else seems to be experiencing this issue, odds are it is a configuration file of the host’s end (I’ve done nothing to the formatting – I’m just trying to get the application to run). If anyone else has something to contribute, it’d be greatly appreciated.
    Also, if Allusion or someone else has addtional information pertaining to the stripslashes issue, that’d be great, too.

    Thanks for the tip! Your advice about the invalid browscap.ini was spot-on. My host is going to fix it tonight.
    That only leaves the odd stripslashes issue, which is hopefully simple to rectify.
