Heading and Carousel problems

    Hi, we have two issues we cannot solve…

    On our home page there are two pieces of pink text above and below the image carousel that are problems…

    1)The text that begins with “Donating a box of cereal may seem like a small thing until you visualize that cereal making its way…”, we want that text to break between “cereal” and “making” so the two lines are more even.

    1b) An even bigger problem is that although that text looks okay on desktops, it looks gigantic and takes up full screens on mobile. Do you have any advice on this? Is there a different method we should be using?

    2) The heading & text carousel below the image carousel that says “Start a Cereal4all Drive like these amazing partners” and has names scrolling under it…for some reason it has a delay getting fixed webpage, like it takes a moment to settle into position (instead of being permanently fixed in place like everything else).
    Can you tell why?

    Hi,

    1) To adjust width of the text you can set it in a smaller column and also adjust column width to suit your needs. You can find more info in Elementor documentation here.

    1b) In Qode Essential Addons > Options > Typography you can set font size for each heading on different stages (please see screenshot). For theme options to be applied please make sure to check “Disable Default Fonts” option in Elementor > Settings as shown in screenshot.

    2) Please check if you’ve perhaps added some Motion Effects in Advanced tab.

    Feel free to check our handy tutorials about our theme here; as well as Elementor tutorials which you can check as there are many options that can be achieved both through our themes options and Elementor options.

    If we disable default fonts in Elementor, is there a risk it will mess up other parts of our website?

    About the Responsive 1440 Typography section…there are also numbers like 1336, 1024, etc. Can you please explain what those mean and how to know which ones apply to changing text when viewed on a desktop vs tablet vs mobile phone?

    We don’t have any motion effects set for the carousel issue. It’s weird, like that carousel is actually fixed in place on the screen and everything else take a delayed second to scroll into position around it.

    Hi,

    The “Disable Default Fonts” option in Elementor will disable Elementor’s Default Fonts, and make Elementor inherit the fonts from your theme.

    The different values in “Responsive 1440/1366/1024/768/680 Typography” represent screen sizes and they are for smaller laptops (1440/1366), horizontal tablet (1024), vertical tablet (768) and mobile (680).

    Since this is a support thread for Qi Theme and the carousel is not a part of the theme, if you need further assistance for this element please open a separate support thread.

    Thank you for the information. We entered different px numbers under Font in H2 Responsive for 768 and 680, but it didn’t shrink the H2 headings on a mobile view. What are we missing? Sorry to ask so many questions. We’re 14 and very new at this.

    You’re welcome. Well, as we can see inspecting your website you are using Elementors Heading widget, so to edit the responsiveness for the Elementor heading widget you can refer to their tutorial here: https://elementor.com/academy/elementor-responsive-101-all-you-need-to-know/

    When it comes to the section titles from our theme and Qi addons widget then our theme options will be applied to the responsiveness that you have set.
