Heading and subheading line breaks

  • It looks like the heading and subheading fields in the gereral settings sections accept html, because when I enter <br> in the field, it makes a line break in the preview screen. However, when I publish and reload, then line break is gone and replaced with </ br>.
    How can I have line breaks in heading and subheading?

    You can’t use HTML inside those fields because of data sanitization. You can only use plain text inside. The preview doesn’t store value inside the database that’s why you’re able to use HTML while preview.

    There is also a solution for this.
    Go to General Settings and check the option Disable Home Background Image Section

    What this will do is hide this particular section from displaying and then you can redesign the same section with Elementor page builder.
