    Hi all,

While reviewing our site for accessibility issues, we noted the link text presented as the title of the article in the latest posts block does not allow heading level to be assigned. There does not appear to be a function to allow management of heading level for this information without custom code, which we do not allow our site creators to use to ensure consistency.

Heading tags for content that visually represents a heading help users navigate and understand the structure.

Does anyone have a solution or remediation that does not involve custom code, or insight into when/if this is already being addressed? I do not see any existing similar support posts.

The page I need help with: [log in to see the link]

Hi @jaimewhi to clarify, you’re looking to customize the HTML, specifically want to use an h1, h2, etc tag for the title of each recommendation? Can you provide an example?

No, we do not want to tell our site creators to use custom code. We would like a prop or method to determine the heading level for the list of articles in the Latest Posts block. The links are visually headings/titles for articles in a list, and should reflect their heading semantically.

Visual headings that are not semantic headings violate WCAG 1.3.1, Info and Relationships and impedes our ability to meet accessibility standards across all websites.
Asking content creators to implement custom code creates risk of error. There are checkboxes and fields to provide alt text for images, this could be a similar setup to set h tag to ensure these headings follow the structure of the content on the page.
