Sorry here is the whole thing….

Fatal error: Call to a member function get() on a non-object in /domain/public_html/wp-includes/query.php on line 28

    Site goes blank, after update.

Got the same problem. Rolling back to 2.2.1…

Sorry to hear that! Could anyone perhaps provide a more elaborate bug report, preferrably on GitHub? We’ve written some guidelines on how to write a good bug report here.

    Thanks

Also had the same problem, so I’m rolling back to 2.2.1. As to details for a more elaborate bug report:
    1. On Updates page of WordPress backend, check WordPress SEO as the plugin to update. Updates run. > White screen in WordPress backend, 500 error for site.

    same problem !!!
    Site goes blank, after update.

With every update there’s always something with WordPress SEO. Time to look for other options. It’s literally every. single. time.

Same here. I have submitted a bug report, but seriously, agree with @firmdot here.

Same problem here as well. Upgraded two plugins – Yoast SEO and Yoast Google Analytics. Blank screen on public site and on Admin pages. Renamed both plugin directories, site and admin both return. Add back in Yoast GA directory, site and admin OK. Add back in Yoast SEO, blank screens.

I saw the update and came to see the forums cos i knoew it would break the site (as usual) i’m glad i didn’t update it.

Just found something I hadn’t expected – I had another sitemap plugin which had been disabled. It was now enabled, creating a conflict. I disabled it and enabled Yoast SEO, and the pages appeared normally.

As an aside, the Yoast sitemap was found to be invalid by Google Webmaster Tools, so I disabled it and used the other sitemap tool, which was fine.

My site (planetxnews.com) just crashed after attempting to install this update. I can’t do anything. I’m totally locked out and when I renamed the wordpress-seo plugin folder via ftp I am now getting php errors, even after renaming it back. How can I get my site running again?

Soon as I updated, it killed our site as well. I get the following
Warning: in_array() expects parameter 2 to be array, null given in /home/vinta14/public_html/wp-content/plugins/bbpress/includes/common/functions.php on line 1446

Fatal error: Call to undefined method stdClass::get() in /home/vinta14/public_html/wp-includes/query.php on line 28

Locked it up so bad had to restore from back-up. Despite all the complaints about this, I don’t see a response yet form the developer? Really need some answers…

Deleting the folder brought my site back. That was awful.

Judging from previous posts, I’m lucky my site didn’t crash with the Yoast SEO update … but it did wipe out the HTML tool bar on each post and the ability to view posts. I deactivated the plug-in and the tool bar and view capability returned.
