Headway Buddypress

  • Anyone have any experience using Headway and Buddypress together? I know Headway has an add on to make it compatible with Buddypress but I have read a few accounts of how it doesn’t work very well.

    Are there any other social networking plugins like Buddypress available? I can’t find anything out there that does the same thing.

    Right now I’m putting together a bunch of random plugins that I hope I can make to work together but I really have no idea.

    Here’s the list: wordpress wiki, wp eCommerce, s2Member, g-lock double opt-in, bbpress forums.

    I’m already using the Headway theme. Anyone know of any conflicts in this set up? It seems a little cumbersome to me. I need things to be simple because I’m not a developer and when problems arise it’s usually a huge struggle to fix them.

  • https://www.ads-software.com/extend/plugins/wp-symposium/ is another social networking plugin

    At some point, you should set up a test installation to check out WP Symposium and especially BuddyPress which is updated regularly and with it’s on add-on plugins. But that’s just a suggestion.

    Thanks for the suggestion. I will look into that. So far all that other stuff that I put together is working out fairly well. There’s a few glitches, but I would rather have something that was meant to work together.
