Health Check plugin shows “Scheduled events A scheduled event (wpseo-reindex-links) has failed to run. Your site still works, but this may indicate that scheduling posts or automated updates may not work as intended.” This is apparently a Yoast cron event. I am using BPS pro.

Could you please provide more details on this issue and if it’s preventing you from updating the plugin or causing any functions of the plugin not to work?

You can also try performing the following:

    1. Make sure the issue doesn’t persist when Yoast SEO is disabled.
    2. Check for conflicts.
    3. Check for JavaScript errors with your console.

If you find any JavaScript errors related to Yoast SEO or if there is a conflict with a plugin or a theme, you can create a new GitHub issue for our developers. Please report the issue to a third party developer as well.

If you didn’t find any conflicts or errors, we think the issue is specific to your site. We’d need to investigate further but are unable to do so on these forums. You can purchase Yoast SEO Premium and receive our Premium email support and we can help you further.

Thanks and sorry for the time lag…. Yes, when the free Yoast SEO plugin is disabled, Health Check is happy. When I re-enable Yoast all is still OK but since this was a cron error I would expect that until wpseo-reindex-links is scheduled again, I won’t see this error.

In this case, please let us know once you see the error again in the Health Check plugin as this only occurs when the scheduled Cron fails to run.
