    Have a few questions:

First ? is; are you related to WPstudio? (confused where sources are coming from), is official support here or on your podss.io/forum ?

Third ? is; Looking for some guidance for a simple tutorial on a locator, searched via zip code, name or state, country.Basically want to start with a locator for local business name, address, bio , phone eg..

TY, I am watching your videos and getting a good grasp on the potential ?? and want to learn more but honestly a but hesitant to take the plunge as I don’t see much activity on support forums. Unless PODs is that good and simple to implement and learn…Thoughts…

Nope, we’re not related to WPStudio, we just worked with them on a few webinars and they’re very big fans of our plugin. We also did a Case Study Webinar with them called Zero to Hero: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=K8EVuNgpOGk

Official Support is both here and on our https://pods.io/forum/ though we have been trying to streamline our support channels and the plan is to do away with the self-hosted support forum in favor of this one and our Slack Chat. Most of our activity is on our Slack Chat at https://pods.io/chat/

There’s actually a lot of activity here, we just tend to answer questions quickly and efficiently and if folks are confused we direct them to our Slack Chat so we can help people understand how to accomplish what they’re trying to do. One of the issues with plugins that have as much capability as our plugin (being able to build a multitude of different kinds of data driven websites) is that it’s hard to provide a ‘one size fits all’ answer or tutorial. Typically, I point people at our overview video from a recent WordPress Meetup I did:

We are a small team, but we support our users and our community. We don’t have a specific tutorial towards a Locator service but usually when you’re doing things like that, that’s more about the search and front-end filters. We work with both FacetWP and Search & Filter for interfaces like that, because that’s what _they’re_ good at and there’s no reason to add that functionality to our plugin when they do that. Creating the post types and the data fields and organizing them is more than possible within Pods.

I hope that answered your questions. I’m going to mark this one as resolved since it seems like you were more concerned about learning if we were actively supporting our plugin. Yep, we are ?? I’d highly suggest joining our Slack if you want some guidance about building your project.

Actually this particular plugin has been discontinued for over 2 years, so surprised you’re on this forum, since this plugin was supposed to be removed from www.ads-software.com

The functionality of this plugin has been incorporated into our primary plugin Pods https://www.ads-software.com/plugins/pods/ You can check out our support forum over there as well. I’ll have to open a ticket to find out why this plugin forum is still active ??
