• Because of hacking issues I’ve had to do a complete restore on a new host (Hostgator). But now I am getting a fatal error on the site and with wp-admin (login)
    This is an issue for ALL of my 30 domains.
    NOTE: These are simple information sites, not commercial.

    Since that is a commercial theme or plugin, we ask that you please go to their official support channel, so you can get support from the people who know it best.

    Forum volunteers are also not given access to commercial products, so they would not know why it is not working properly. Other community members who may have faced your issue might be able to help you but your best bet is your product’s developer. Keep in mind we encourage you to use the official support venues, as it allows the developers to be aware of issues with their code and gives back to the community in a more robust way.

    Hi JJSmith888,

    Since in this forum, we try to solve issues related to just a WordPress site, I recommend contacting Heatmap Pro theme support for more technical help.

    You can also contact your webhost support and ask them to enable
    create_function() PHP function
    https://www.php.net/manual/en/function.create-function.php

    They may have restricted it for security reasons, but your theme is requiring that

    Just to clarify one thing.
    I have reached out to the themes author but his info is all old and non-responsive.
    I even reached out to who I think is his wife via her Website, but again no response.

    Hey @jjsmith888
    Your new hosting provides PHP 8.0. However, your current theme isn’t fully compatible. This is due to the deprecation of create_function in PHP v8.0. While downgrading PHP to 7.4 might seem like a quick fix, it’s important to remember that security support for PHP 7.4 ends in just a few days.
