I tried to fix it, but I still have a problem.

my 1st option was to copy/paste the URL (which had Hebrew) but your plugin didn’t show it correctly on the site map. you can see an example in the last line in my site map. the original page is this https://teacheronline.co.il/???-???????-??????-???????/

my 2nd option was to copy/paste the URL with the Hebrew. in this option the link does work on the site map (you can see it in my sitemap, all the links are working except the last one). BUT, the problem is the google doesn’t accept this sitemap.

I Will be very happy for your help

    Hey @haytov,

    Thank you for reporting this.

I’ve been able to reproduce this and believe it’s a bug, so I’ve opened a ticket for it on our end. We’ll try to fix it as soon as possible.

    Hi Arnaud,
do you know more or less when will you fix the bug?
    thank you

    Hey @haytov,

I can’t make any definitive promises, but I did assign this issue to the next release, so hopefully it will be included in the next update.

    Hey @haytov,

Are you adding your URL’s like the first or second example in my screenshot? https://a.supportally.com/WioPTH

    (@haytov)

I tried both but it didn’t work.
the 1st option in the screenshot will be readable to the map, but somewhere on the process, it will not show up in the search console XML map.
the 2nd option will just show a mistake, and it will not be readable at any part of the process

    (@arnaudbroes)

So I think the first way is the way to go, which means we need to drill down on the issue you’re seeing in the search console.

Are you saying it simply does not show up at all inside Google Search Console?

    Thread Starter haytov

    (@haytov)

the first way is better than the second because the second gives a broken link ??
    BUT
the second option doesn’t do the job in the search console.
it does index the page, but it does NOT appear on the site map.
    please check the following screenshots.

    https://drive.google.com/file/d/1iP8toWbcyu32UrVK-qZeq6Ysfsu1yxk6/view
this shows the search console of the home page (which has only English URL), and google index it and show it on the sitemap.

    https://drive.google.com/file/d/1hOKTEd_bEn9Kg4U-2giPSTpVQwgsEBJh/view
here you can see a page with Hebrew URL and the search console does index it, but it also says it was NOT sent to the sitemap.

the screenshots are in Hebrew, but you can see the word SITEMAP at the last sentence.
if you need, I can try change my language to English and screenshot again, or I can share with you access to my search console

    So just to summarize –

The first one works fine in Google Search Console but does not appear in the sitemap.

The second one appears in the sitemap with a broken link.

    Is that correct?

    Thread Starter haytov

    (@haytov)

    Yes, this is correct

    (@haytov)

I see you updated your plugin.
do you know if this issue was fixed?
thank you very much for your quick and helpful support

    (@arnaudbroes)

@haytov we didn’t make any changes regarding this in the new update.

Unfortunately, I can’t seem to reproduce what you’re experiencing. When I add the URL in Hebrew (the non-encoded version) and save it, it shows up fine in the sitemap – https://a.supportally.com/NcLkCR

Let me know if I’m doing something wrong.

I see on my WordPress dashboard the same as you sent
    BUT
on the google search console it doesn’t work

would you like to see it on the search console from my side?
    or
you can try to see how this link that you sent me looks at the search console, and you will see that the search conslole doesn’t recognize it

    thank you
