    Hi computer Gurus
I started to use MH elegance lite 1.1.3 which I love as a base theme for word press for a new website for a chefs organisation and it is a fab theme, and would even like to go to the next step and obtain the advanced version.
Being a chef by trade, I understand relatively very little about the computing world and code, so please be gentle on me with your answers. Most of my previous designs of web pages were in the old expression web / html.
I started designing a new webpage using MH 1.1. in 4.2.4 word press and found it great until suddenly the footer became very high. I have tried everything I know with my limited knowledge – even deleted and deactivated plug-ins, moved back in time and more and now frustrated.
Can anyone please advise where should I look for any sort of answer to a sudden enlarging of the height of the footer or even better where do I set the height of footer? I cannot seem to find any reference to footer anywhere. Is there even a plug-in for this? The site in development and you will need user and password technicalchef and technicalchef4831 to access and will need twice then OK. To open
    Can anyone help – Thanks
    George Hill

  • Hi George,

thanks for using MH Elegance lite and we’re happy that you like the theme.

Can you please provide your URL (and make the site visible) so that we can inspect your site to see what you mean? Please ensure to change your login and password first as you really shouldn’t post that publicly in this forum. ??

    Have a nice weekend.

    Re Footer height problem
Thank You for your prompt reply. Love to know your name so apologies for the “author”

    Hi Author,
In context, the user and password is only there to keep the actual site page out of normal public view, while a group of chefs can design the rules of an association that will set standards in our industry. So it does not matter if this user and password is public as it only is to the word press site in development. When ready will be removed completely
When you say make visible do you mean remove password/user to page to the page?
    The url is
    http.//technicalchef.com/wordpress
    https://www.technicalchef.com/wordpress which asks for a user =technicalchef and pass = technicalchef4831.
Do you wish we remove that?
What is the price? on one site it is $49 and on your home page there is a 60% off purchases and is this USA or Australian?

If I knew how to set the height of the footer it would be OK

    Thanks for reply

    Hi George,

    thanks for providing your URL.

You could install a plugin for custom CSS code (e.g. Simple Custom CSS) and then simply add this:

    footer { min-height: 0; }

That will reduce the height of your footer to make it look more appealing in regards to the footer navigation you’ve added.

    What is the price?

The price for the premium version of the theme is 49 USD. Here you can find more information: MH Elegance.

on your home page there is a 60% off purchases

Where have you seen this? We don’t have this on our website as there is no 60% discount. We don’t provide discounts on single theme purchases. But we have the MH Themes Bundle which includes all our themes.

But the forums on www.ads-software.com are only covering free themes and we can’t answer questions regarding the commercial themes here. So in case you have any pre-sales questions, feel free to contact us.

    Have a nice weekend.

I am using MH elegance – (Fantastic word press theme) in 4.3

I have a which to you may be simple question – Is there a way someone who knows ZILTH about coding (being a chef )can change the search page layout from one that includes the sidebar to a page that displays full width
This theme has to be experienced to believe what it can do.
I take my hat off to you

    Hi George,

thanks, we’re very happy that you like the theme. ??

What you have in mind isn’t possible out of the box and would require the creation of a custom child theme. If you are not familiar with coding, you could hire someone to do this for you.
