Height of Product Description Div

Wondering why there is a maximum height specified here – it cuts off a lot of the product description.

.prod-cat-addt-details-desc-div {
    float: left;
    max-height: 180px;
    min-height: 100px;
    padding: 10px 10px 10px 15px;
    text-indent: 25px;
}

Tried overwriting it in theme custom code max-height: auto !important; but no go.
