Help adding adverts and banners

Thanks for your assistance. With regard to adding adds, can you tell me how to access the souce code in order to add the txt. Also the banner I want to add is on the page under the header not change the header graph.

You edit your theme files (header.php, sidebar.php, etc.). If you are not into coding or css, the easiest option is to choose an Adsense-ready theme.

I am not explaining myself very clearly, how do I access the source code of a basic wordpress page. Here is my site https://www.marketingmusicevents.com Do I go to my host to add adsense directly onto page or can it be done through word press admin.

You edit your template files on your computer in a plain text editor and then upload the modified files into the theme folder. Make a backup copy before messing around… just in case.
