Help Adding Rule To Htaccess File

  • I continue to get a 404 error when accessing /journal, yet when i go to /journal/index.php it displays correctly. I suspect this may be due to the fact that my wordpress directory is /journal/ and my permalink structure is ‘/journal/category/title’

    What would be the best way then to force /journal/ to display correctly? I’m not familar with rewrite rules, however I think it could be solved with one.
