Help Adjusting Resolution for Blurry Photos

Can you share a link on how it looks like on your original image so we have something to compare it with?

Actually, it is not that slider, but the slider lower down on the home page that displays various books.

However, even the direct link to the picture (which you linked above of the first slider on the page) looks much clearer than when it is used in the slider.

Either way, I want to make sure that all the settings I’m using are correct.

Is the optimum size for all images and sliders 2000 x 1000 px like I have read? (Right now some of the sliders are 1640 x 856.)

All of the images in the sliders are slightly blurry for me.

I’m using Google Chrome, a Dell Inspiron, resolution of screen is 1920 x 1080 x 59 hertz.

I went ahead and tested it on windows using chrome but I still wasn’t able to replicate your issue. I’m still getting the same quality image, which should be the case as the slider is using the raw image and not the thumbnail.

I agree that the difference is slight, but I want to make sure the website is a crisp as possible. If you zoom in slightly on the text, you can see that it is more clear on the originals.

Your screenshots has a resolution of 1896px while your originals has 1640px. If you open an image editor and reduce the screenshot size to 1640px, you’d have a comparable quality.

Anyways, It’s not really advisable to use image with text. If you really want to ensure to retain a crisp quality of your text I would suggest to use the Layer Slide feature instead. https://www.metaslider.com/document/layer-slides/

Unfortunately, this feature is only available on the pro version of the plugin.
