HELP! Can’t access admin panel

Does you admin work? Just go to “presentation” and choose a theme if it does. If you mucked up your theme, you might want to upload it again or another.

I can’t log in – when I try I get the Can’t Select Database error page

you changed one or both of the site url/home urls.

What you are seeing, the redirection I just described is due to the site url/home urls being incorrectly set.

Sorry to be so dense here, but how do I get into phpMyAdmin?

Okay, so I’m logged in, but my blog is showing up as text. When I go to Presentation – Themes, the theme shows up as text, not as graphics (it says, in text “Current Theme Preview” in the box). How do I get the graphic theme back? Do I need to reload the theme files?

I think you better upload the WP installation again. Some files may be corrupt or something. Or try whooami’s suggestion before continueing.

you do NOT need to reupload files. or remove your database.
