Help – Can’t Put Any Links in my Posts

  • When I try to link text using the link button on the toolbar, it opens a pop up box as it should, but the box is blank. There’s no way to type anything into the box. Any ideas??

    There’s no “box”, other than just a blank pop up box itself. It’s not possible to type in it.

    Have you tried using another browser? Another machine?

    yes, doesn’t help.

    Plus, I have several wordpress blogs that I use on this machine and browser and don’t have the same problem.

    Have you tried:

    – deactivating all plugins to see if this resolves the problem? If this works, re-activate the plugins one by one until you find the problematic plugin(s).

    – switching to the default theme to rule out any theme-specific problems?

    – resetting the plugins folder by FTP or phpMyAdmin? Sometimes, an apparently inactive plugin can still cause problems.

    – re-uploading the wp-admin and wp-includes folders from a fresh download of WordPress?
