Help : crash site !

  • Hi there,
    (excuse my English, this ain’t my mother tongue…)
    I have just made a big fail. I didn’t do a child theme and I stupidly modified the functions.php file directly from the site. It crashed.
    I then downloaded a fresh version of zerif lite and pickep up the functions.php file that I uploaded on my website through a ftp. But unfortunately the site remains down. I cannot even access the admin.

    Do you have any idea of the way to solve it ? I am not an IT girl, and I am completely lost on what else I could do… I have been working a lot on my site so I would be really annoyed to have to do it again.

    Hi Letizia,

    I just checked your site, and I realised that I didn’t understand well the problem. I thought you have some syntax error or something like this. But it seams your site is not loading at all.
    In this case, I think the best solution would be to contact your hosting provider. They should be able to help you with this, because unfortunately we can’t do anything about this.
