Hi, I’m receiving a lot of traffic from country-unknown, apparently tor-related, sources. They very often try to upload malicious files, they traverse directories, etc. 60/70% of the time in their host there is the word “tor” or “exit”. I want to block (“advanced blocking”) any host containing “tor” or “exit”, no matter how this rule is strict. Can you help me create this rule?

  • Hi islp,
You can use something like *tor*, *exit* in the “Hostname” field in (Wordfence > Advanced Blocking), it will be helpful, though, if you can share with us a screenshot showing these entries in “Traffic Log”.

    Thanks.

Ok, I did it before your reply and anything went fine (thanks, anyway). After very few capures, TOR traffic suddenly disappeared.
