Help! Delete or change Username

  • I accidentally signed up for www.ads-software.com instead of wordpress.com. Now when I try and set it up on wordpress.com, I can’t because the username is taken on www.ads-software.com. I do not have the capability to go through and change the username on www.ads-software.com (I don’t have hosting and not up for setting that up and going through wp-admin). Is there anyway to change my username on www.ads-software.com without having to set all of that up? Can someone just please delete this for me?

    WordPress.ORG forum accounts are NOT deletable. If you do not want it, leave it as it is. Try opening a WordPress.COM account with whatever password you like.

    Again, I CANNOT use this username in WordPress.COM because I’m using it on www.ads-software.com. The question was about usernames not passwords. Again, I need to use this username on WordPress.com.

    Are you sure? I use the same username in both .com and .org forums.
