HELP! Delivery and Shipping trouble

  • I am really struggling to incorporate the delivery method i require into wordpress. WordPress only offers delivery to be incorporated using the products weight whereas i would need the delivery cost to be fixed for how far away the customer is from myself (e.g 10miles, 20 miles 50miles etc) and we would need this cost to be included in the price at checkout.

    Would you have any idea’s of how we can acheive this as this is the only problem before going live!?

    WordPress is a web publishing tool. It doesn’t have anything in it to accommodate “delivery” or “product weight”. Perhaps you should talk to whoever built your site for you.

    No, because the problem you’re describing isn’t something that WordPress does. It doesn’t have delivery, shipping, weight, or anything along those lines. Whatever you’re using is an add-on to your site, not part of WordPress.

    Under shipping settings in the shopping cart tab i can set up the shipping to be priced by ‘order weight’ or ‘order amount’.

    First, identify what ecommerce plugin you are using and then post in that plugin’s dedicated forum via its page in the Plugin Repository.
