HELP – Event Search Attributes – Event List from User ACTUAL Location

maybe you can create your own custom search attribute for this one – https://wp-events-plugin.com/tutorials/creating-custom-event-search-attributes/

eg. [events_list user_city=”NY”]

where:
user_city = is the new search attribute you created using the list above

but the =”NY” I have to define? Or can the javascript variable define it for me? I do not want to have to type city or state that will mean I need 50 pages.. and 50 links.

Also what file(s) do I input the codes in link you sent me?

This is going to take some fairly extensive custom coding for you to achieve.

You’ll need to extract the location information from your shortcode to be used in PHP, and then pass it directly into the search form via hooks or by modifying the search template.
